- Kansas Police Department: The police page lists 104 S. Front St., Kansas, IL 61933, and 217-948-5621. Village Hall can be reached at 217-948-5211. The Kansas FOIA page provides the written or email request route and form.
- Court records and disposition: Search the Edgar County case system through Judici, then confirm important results with the Circuit Clerk at 115 W. Court St., Room M, Paris, IL 61944, 217-466-7447. The clerk's request route is for court records, not a jail roster.
- State-prison custody: Use the official Illinois Department of Corrections offender search for a sentenced or otherwise IDOC-held person. An IDOC result does not establish a recent Edgar County booking.
